What stories are you telling yourself? When you hear voices or narratives in your head talking about you, your choices, your life, whose voices are they? Where did they come from?

One of the hardest and most important things late diagnosed (and all diagnosis configurations from self dx to professional dx and everything in between are valid!) neurodivergent individuals need to do is think about what they’re telling themselves, determine if it’s their authentic truth, and because it usually isn’t, where it came from and why. This forensic thought work and reframing work, is vital to changing how we look at ourselves and how we fit into the world.

In this episode, I discuss the process along with a few examples and why it’s so important.
